WOLSFELD WOODS is one of more than 130 Scientific and Natural Areas (SNA) in Minnesota designated by the DNR for “… protection of rare species of plants and animals, geological features, and natural communities.”

Freinds of Wolsfeld Woods (FOWW) helps the DNR in its mission by preserving this land for future generations. For more information about SNAs and the Big Woods, visit the DNR Web site at
